100 YEARS OF CAKE BOILED ICING

Our first cake, features the oldest tradition we have. Boiled Icing! This icing dates back to the 1600s and has been a tradition here since we opened in 1924. This is one of Helen’s most popular icings from those early years, and its texture is light and sweet, similar to marshmallow. It has a beautifully bright, shiny white appearance and takes color with striking clarity. Come by to see boiled icing and maybe take a cake home to share! We will have them in the case every day for the month of April.
