National Donut Day Coming Soon!

On June 7th, we will be celebrating the 86th National Donut Day. To go along with celebrating our history over the last century in Portland, we will be celebrating the history of Donut Day. Established in 1938 by the Salvation Army, the holiday was an effort to raise funds for those in need during the Great Depression. It also commemorates the “Donut Lassies” and “Donut Dollies” who braved the front lines of WWI and WWII to deliver donuts and mental health support to soldiers.
